Zeolite impregnated plastic?! Somehow I am doubtful, very doubtful. Bananas may emit some ethylene during ripening, but they are also purposely exposed to ethylene to ripen them. Once I bought unripe bananas from Stop&Shop that were extra green...a week later they were still green and...
