Graduate What is the nature of electric charge and how does it relate to string theory?
DrZoidberg, thanks for your link. I just noticed that it describes a charge much like this book I am currently reading. So i apologize for not noticing your link till after posting. Your source was even more in-depth, so I greatly appreciate it.- x8xPTx8x

Graduate What is the nature of electric charge and how does it relate to string theory?
Thanks so much for the responses to my questions. I apologize if my deep curiosity came off as unwilling to accept a fact. However, I found an answer that sufficed my general question. For those who were also wondering: well, I am currently reading "The Elegant Universe" by Brian Greene. For...- x8xPTx8x

Hey guys, I am new to this forum. So I apologize if this question has been answered in a direct or indirect way on another forum.I'm extremely interested in physics, And I am a very deep thinker. I am currently reading up on String Theory in hope of understanding as much as I can. I really enjoy...- x8xPTx8x

Undergrad So, what happens to the energy of a bouncing ball in a vacuum?
Hey guys, im a physics junky, and new to these forums. I have a burning question i was thinking about the past week or so: If a ball was bounced from a given initial height say 30m. And it bounced in a vacumm-tight container, would its velocity be high enough after its bounce to achieve...
