Space ships turning+time dilation
question Ok not to take up a lot of time but what could be the effect of a say light weapon between two closing ships, [ships closing with each other at a speed of say .10c, each, the weapons fire is closing between the ships then at 1.20c], the question is at what point in time, at which...- Xtrapper

Space ships turning+time dilation
As to turning your spaceship at a forward speed of .33c, [how ever far you turn], the point I believe for your book to considered is simply your power available to make the turn, if you have accelerated at 1g. For a long time to say .33c. as 1g, was the max power you had, [then its still the max...- Xtrapper

Graduate Another confusing thought on relativity
Sorry, but my understanding was that questions were a good thing, (but having been talked out of school by the US. Government, to kill people back in the 70's), my knowledge base is very limited but I still have wide interest and I have found that to many times confusing questions and answers...- Xtrapper

Graduate Observed speed of light [actually about relativistic velocity addition]
It's just a Question, why do things have to become overly complicated, around, at, or beyond the speed of light, is it, or may it be more simple and more elegant to say, or consider, just as a starting point for other matters, that in relativity motions, things moving and related to each other...- Xtrapper

Graduate Relativistic Space Matter Flows over near light speed ships
Not being to bright, what I have wondered about, is the actual age of atoms coming in from interstellar space to Earth and the new arriving matter, dust, gas, meteors, et al, (to include the original mass of our sun, planets, et al), if, or not they have been effected by the relative travel...- Xtrapper

Graduate Another confusing thought on relativity
To open a new though, if we have spent time and though based on space time being bent by gravity and its not, are we not in a rut that has trapped us for a long time and will subvert our line of though till we get out of that rut. If Einstein, was wrong and those people at the solar eclipse saw...- Xtrapper
