Hello everyone, My apologies if I am posting in the wrong area, however, I do believe my question belong here. Has anyone heard of any new technologies or processes going on in the field of electrical engineering? anything broad will do.

Depends on what the books are used for. I'm into computer programming, so I like to be able to hit CTRL+ALT to switch between IDE and E-Book pretty quickly. But for casual reading, a real book is easier on the eyes (provided enough light).

Perhaps you just need someone to talk to. See the schools counselor. They have excellent listening skills. Motivation is key.

I too suffer from the lazy syndrome. I think its all about who you surround yourself with. If your friends tend to look at you weird because you only got a C on your math test, it has a tendency to motivate. Get around the winners and you will be fine.

I've heard that firms tend to hire physics majors because business majors can't do the necessary math. Whats the difference? Sorry I'm a noob.
