Undergrad What is the moment of inertia of a sphere and how is it derived?
I haven't sensed a physical meaning to it yet in my head , but there's a formula that states tge summation of moments of inertia wrt x-axis ,y axis and z axis , respectively is equal to two times the moment of inertia at the origin . I think so .. Unfortunately i don't have enough time to... -

Undergrad What is the moment of inertia of a sphere and how is it derived?
How could we calculate the moment of inertia of a sphere , cut into half by the xoy plane ,, its supposed that moment of ineria about the xy and zy axes is zero , i want to know why -

Undergrad What is the moment of inertia of a sphere and how is it derived?
Now I understand , it has turned out that she meant the moment of inertia of the center of sphere and I thought it were the moment of an axis passing through the center , just because she hasn't specified clearly what she meant , thank you everyone :) -

Undergrad What is the moment of inertia of a sphere and how is it derived?
I know the moment of inertia for both a solid sphere and a hollow sphere is , but my teacher has derived a moment of inertia of the sphere but am not sure about what axis she was deriving it , and she got this answer 3/5 MR^2 -

Graduate Why is a conserved vector field a gradient of a certain func
Hi! I've figured this out, by the stocks theorem and that the work done by a conservative force on a closed curve is zero but why it isn't true for the non conservative force?- Za Kh

Graduate Why is a conserved vector field a gradient of a certain func
I know that if a vector field is conserved then there exits a function such that the gradient of this function is equal to the vector field but am just curious to know the reason of it.- Za Kh

High School Difference between impulse and magnitude of force
we learned about the impulse of a force , but just then a question came to my mind , what's the difference between the magnitude of a force and its impulse , or are they the same ... ?? -

Undergrad Force of tension of spring and rope
Mmm I don't think so , so you mean that tension force is conservative when the rope can be recovered and returned to its normal condition right ? -

Undergrad Force of tension of spring and rope
why is the tension force of spring conservative and tension force of rope not conservative ??
