Please keep in mind that we do not allow philosophical discussions at PF, that's in the rules. We don't have any Philosophy Mentors, so we are not able to adequately moderate such discussion. Hence, we do not allow them.

I'd ask you to define what is a "philosophical discussion" but then that'd be a philosophical discussion.

The rules actually do not prohibit philosophical discussions, they say you can delete them on a whim. Perhaps you should update the rules accordingly?

But as a practical matter, for the last few years we have shut down any threads about philosophy pretty quickly. Please avoind the subject. Thank you.
