I want information about credit hour system

what is GPA?

What is SGPA??

what is cumulative grade point average??

What is a quality point??

A grade point is about the number of hours per week that a class meets for instruction during an 18 week semester. An assessment mark of 4, 3, 2, 1, 0 correspond to letter grades of A, B, C, D, F. Grade Point Average is the (trouble expressing this properly) assessment mark for each hour divided by the total number of grade points.

An example will clarify what I mean.
NameOfCourse01 is 3 units; NameOfCourse02 is 5 units.
You earn C for Course01, and earn A for Course02. Total units is 3+5=8.
Grades earned gave you 3*3 + 5*4 = 9 + 20 = 29,
so for this semester, GPA is 29/8 (do the arithmetic, get 3 point something...)
 
What I should have said is grade points are the letter grade as a value multiplied by the number of units; so in my example above, 29 grade points.
