What are the best distance learning options for studying physics at 50?

The question will appear to be strange for many of you. I am 50 and I like physics. My usual profession is dentist but I have to look for some modifications in my career because of a health problem. Do you know and can you recommand me a possibility to study in a first step by correspondance? Thanks
