What are the effects of social media on intelligence?

[Aquila ka Hecate]

Hello,

I'm from Johannesburg, South Africa.
I took Theoretical Physics and Astronomy at the University of the Witwatersrand and UNISA many years ago.
Today I work as an Actuarial Programmer.

My feeling on joining these forums is that social media is making me more stupid than necessary!
Hope to regain some intelligence here

Hello and welcome to PF!

They say the first step on the road to recovery is recognizing and admitting there is a problem, and so you are well on your way!
