SUMMARY

Kristina Giesel will present a seminar talk on an undisclosed topic on Thursday, September 7. She is known for her collaboration with Thomas Thiemann on several significant papers in the field of General Relativity and Quantum Cosmology. Their joint works include the "Algebraic Quantum Gravity" series and studies on operator quantization in Loop Quantum Gravity. The seminar is anticipated to continue the narrative surrounding Thiemann's contributions to the field.

PREREQUISITES
  • Familiarity with General Relativity and Quantum Cosmology concepts
  • Understanding of Loop Quantum Gravity principles
  • Knowledge of academic paper structures and citation formats
  • Awareness of the works of Thomas Thiemann
NEXT STEPS
  • Research Kristina Giesel's contributions to Algebraic Quantum Gravity
  • Explore Thomas Thiemann's publications on Loop Quantum Gravity
  • Study the implications of semiclassical perturbation theory in quantum gravity
  • Investigate the historical context of the Thiemann saga in theoretical physics
USEFUL FOR

The discussion is beneficial for physicists, researchers in quantum gravity, and students interested in the advancements of General Relativity and its mathematical frameworks.

Kristina Giesel talk Thursday

On Thursday 7 September Kristina Giesel gives a seminar talk on topic TBA.

I was in a rush earlier and screwed up. I confused Kristina Giesel with someone else and wrote the wrong first name.

Now I have to start at square one with this.

All I know about K. Giesel is her collaboration with TT on a halfdozen papers

so I guess the upcoming seminar talk at Perimeter is part of the ongoing
Thiemannssaga. A heroic or semiheroic story like the Icelandic Gislasaga (which has parts where one feels a bit faint).
Actually the old story is a pretty good one. We'll see how the modern story turns out.
