View Full Version : units for momentum
would you give a measurement of mometum units? like kg*m/s?
Of course momentum has units! And you are exactly correct, one such unit would be kg*m/s.
It's also N*s. (Newton * Second)

N*s is usually used as the unit for impulse. But the two units are fundamentally equivalent, and only a real stickler would complain about their cross-usage.
