Hey, what about di-ethylene glycol and tri-ethylene glycol? What is the difference between them? Are they just stronger ethylene glycols?

simply ethylene glycol could be prepared as follwoing:
CH2=CH2 + O + 2H2O ----( KMNO4/ 0 cel.deg.)----> HOCH2-CH2OH
