An international archeological expedition to Lake Issyk Kul, high in the Kyrgyz mountains, proves the existence of an advanced civilization 25 centuries ago, equal in development to the Hellenic civilizations of the northern coast of the Pontus Euxinus (Black Sea) and the Mediterranean coast of Egypt. ...cont'd
Anyway, here is a picture of one of the artefacts:

I would love to see more of the artifacts, like the bronze pot they keep referring to.

I would love to see more of the artifacts, like the bronze pot they keep referring to.I've checked and I can't find anything that shows the artifacts. Found some interesting additional information about the history of the area.
Here is the original story for RIA Novosti.

It's unfortunate that no pictures of the artifacts are yet available. People seem to keep tight control on such information.
Some more commentary - http://arky-news.livejournal.com/52486.html#cutid1
They apparently had some knowledge (advanced perhaps) of bronze metallurgy.

It would be interesting if Avestan script/inscriptions were found.
I know of at least two Scythian mummies that have been found. One is reported here -

Many years ago there was a mummified woman found.
Apparently there is a discussion of Scythian mummies in Ch 15 of this book -
