Okay I've just paid £50 for the feynman lectures on ebay, waiting for it in the post.

Anyone here have it and can tell me whether I've wasted my money (i'm 17 and havn't even started learning particle physics yet, I've just finished AS levels).

Am I going to understand it or not? Also is it any good?

These are things you're supposed to find out before buying a book .

It was a random act of madness while browsing ebay. It's better than spending it on food and drink.

I think of them as a good investment. Feynman, in his recorded and written lectures explained the conceptional aspects of my introductory physics class a lot better than my professor with a thick Russian accent who could rarely understand the questions that were posed to him.

If you look at the bottom at the page at the similar threads I think you will find similar questions to your own.
