I have taken Analog Circuits and will take Digital this semester.
I am looking to get at some interesting circuit projects that would perhaps include electric motors.
I want more hands on experience with circuits. Any book recommendations?

I googled hobby circuit projects, and got lots of good hits. Here's the hit list:
Build yourself an H-Bridge? Analog-like control with a digital signal (assuming you can do pulse width modulation--PWM). The beauty of an H-Bridge is that you can always add more bells and whistles (speed monitoring, finer grain control, temperature shut-offs, stuff to protect MOSFETs, etc.)
At some point, you might get one of these:

BTW, another manufacturer of H-Bridges with probably more theory than you need to start with (see information and/or servicing)
