Can someone tell me where onlin physicists publish their papers? If its more than one place, only those papers on string/M theory will suffice. Thanks for the help.

Go to http://arxiv.org/. There's a menu of different kinds of physics. The one you want is High Energy Physics - Theory (code hep-th). Click on NEW to see today's papers or RECENT to see the last week or so.
