I tried doing F=ma and got the a= 19.92 and then setting up a=(vf-vi)/delta t

Didn't work.......
I dont know what I did wrong. Please help. thank you

Maybe after finding the acceleration you would use

Vf2 = Vi2 + 2*a*x

to yield the distance
