Hello, I am an undergraduate student interested in fluid mechanics and was wondering what courses would I need to take (or be useful)? Any recomendations for good introduction to fluid mechanics books?

thanks for your time!

It took most of us years of prerequisites before learning fluid dynamics. I personally found Viscous Flow and Compressible Flow a couple of the more interesting classes I took.

Mechanics of Fluids by Potter and Wiggert (http://www.amazon.com/Mechanics-Fluids-Merle-C-Potter/dp/0534379966) was a help to me for fundamentals; not sure how well it stood up to my advanced fluid mechanics course as I never used it.
