am designing a autonomous underwater vehicle .well,i got 2 issues right now regarding its buoyancy control and water proof joints.
can anyone suggest me some ways by which the buoyancy can be controlled and some methods to make the joints of auv water proof efficiently.

Welcome to the PF. How do submarines control their buoyancy? How do current submersibles (sp?) and ROVs control their buoyancy? What are the depth requirements for your vehicle? What year school project is this for?

And the answers to my other questions? Have you actually done any research into your project? Or are you counting on us doing it for you?

well i just started my project so am not quite used with all the things. Submarines control the buoyancy using ballast tanks .
