1. The problem statement, all variables and given/known data
A man is standing on a frozen pond (which is mean less).
He throws a ball m=250 g
The speed of the ball is 8.0 ms-1
The man moves back at a speed of 0.05 ms-1
How heavy is the man ?

2. Relevant equations

p1=p2
m1 x v1 = m2 x v2

3. The attempt at a solution

p1=p2
m1 v1 = m2 v2

250 x 8 = m2 x 0.05
2000 = 0.05 m2
m2= 40000 [g] = 40 [kg]

is this correct ?
