Sci/Tech Headlines...

I'm tired of the Sci/Tech headlines always being about cell phones and tablets. Lets have a new breakthrough or fad so I can take interest in that section of the news again. Surely something is actually happening in technology or science other than Verizon getting the Iphone... I go to further lament

Where do you get your news? I go straight to physorg.com (via a blackberry app actually) and thus bypass the mainstream media, which is always going to be about stuff the majority of people are interested about and can understand. The major breakthroughs in science are not going to make the major news unless people think it's going to effect them in some direct and comprehensible way.
