I believe I have put together a pretty compelling case to demonstrate that the sun has a solid surface made of calcium ferrites that form structures and emit electrical arcs. This model is based on observations from the Sert program and SOHO, TRACE and YOHKOH satellite data. You can get the full explanation of this model at:
