What if I said the only reason there is order and events is because we precieve it that way.
The discussion revolves around the nature of order and events as perceived by individuals, exploring philosophical implications and connections to concepts in physics, particularly String Theory and quantum mechanics. It includes considerations of determinism and the existence of parallel universes.
Participants express disagreement regarding the appropriateness of the topic for the physics section, with some asserting it is more philosophical in nature. The discussion remains unresolved regarding the implications of perception on order and events.
There are limitations in the discussion related to the definitions of order, events, and perception, as well as the philosophical interpretations of quantum mechanics and their relation to String Theory.

scott_alexsk said:You are probably right about the posting area, though the reason I posted the thread here is because of the "Eye of the beholder" being a major part of String Theory. The reason I started this was to see if there were any explanations into the infinite parallel universes idea. Several people have said that there are an infinite number of universes with slight variances. Now if we are in one of them are we condemned to follow a certain path through life. Or is it possible that are choices are not predetermined.
