I figure we need a poll to settle the Porsche vs Vette thread that has come up.

This isn't about affordability.
The discussion centers around a comparison between the Porsche Carrera GT and the Chevy Corvette, focusing on aspects such as performance, handling, and personal preferences regarding car design and engineering. Participants express their views on European versus American cars, as well as their own experiences with different models.
The discussion features multiple competing views regarding the superiority of the Porsche Carrera GT versus the Chevy Corvette, with no consensus reached on which car is definitively better. Participants also disagree on the implications of multinational manufacturing in the automotive industry.
Participants reference various models and personal experiences, but there are unresolved assumptions about the definitions of "better" in terms of car performance and design. Additionally, discussions about manufacturing locations and ownership structures are complex and may depend on specific definitions and contexts.

Meanwhile, employees of institutions will want to know why you do not have a 'real' ID.loseyourname said:I was driving an Expedition until my license expired and I didn't bother renewing it.

Someone will have to drive you down to the DMV and let you borrow his car and sit around waiting while you are tested. The DMV driving tester will be curious to know why you seem to know how to drive.
