do TV cameras have autofocus?
and, do USA tanks have some alarm system telling them if they are been targeted with an IR system?
Hmmm... well, there is no way to tell if you are being targetted with a passive IR system. Active IR, I don't know, but I would guess probably not.

No, since IR is completely passive, there is no way to tell if you have someone tracking you. Remember, IR is just low frequency light. You can't tell if someone is looking at you.
