Horizontal/veritcal componets

I have a question talking about a missile rising up at 22 m/s at 38 degrees from the horizon.

Does anybody know the steps I take to fins this out?
Even the base forumla would help.

horizontal component = 22\cos38
vertical componet = 22\sin38
