SUMMARY

Writing words using parametric equations is achievable with the TI-89 Titanium graphing calculator. Users can create intricate designs by defining equations that correspond to each letter. While some have found the process tedious, it is possible to automate this task through programming. Specific methods and programs for generating text using parametric equations were discussed, emphasizing the capabilities of the TI-89 Titanium.

PREREQUISITES
  • Understanding of parametric equations
  • Familiarity with the TI-89 Titanium graphing calculator
  • Basic programming skills for automation
  • Knowledge of graphing techniques
NEXT STEPS
  • Explore programming techniques for the TI-89 Titanium
  • Research existing parametric equations for letters and words
  • Learn about graphing automation tools compatible with TI-89
  • Investigate community resources for sharing parametric designs

does anyone have a really good method for writing out words or messages using parametric equations, or ...even better a program to do it for me?

or really using anything the ti-89 titanium is capable of graphing, not just parametrics.

Yes, you can do it. I tried it before last year, and gave up because of the tedium.
