Hi Ivan,

I'm a Peace Corps Volunteer in Morocco and one of my students has successfully reinvented the Magnet Motor (not bad for a 17 year old Moroccan High School Student). I'm not a physics guy but I wanted to give him some information, and hopefully the proof for him to know why it hasn't been successful. I'm also hoping to do it in a way that doesn't discourage future inventions. I saw you had posted about this topic in a couple posts and thought I'd see if you'd be willing to help me out.

Hey SW, that was from her recent performance in Russia. I responded with a link from her performance last year in Sarasota, Florida, which was filmed for PBS's Great Performances. It will be interesting to watch her mature. I Just hope her voice survives. Could go either way. But most of the pros around her seem to think her voice will survive the transition into adulthood.

Hello Ivan. I posted Jackie's "All I Ask of You" in case you haven't seen it. It says the concert is was in St. Petersburg. Do you know if that's Russia or Florida?

sunwukong, I assume this goes back to my comments from long ago about the test run in Los Angeles on B&W TV?

Ivan Back in 1953 or 54 I was visiting a friends house. He had a B&W TV when the Walt Disney Show started I remember seeing the introduction, with the castle and the bursting fire works in colour. Latter I learned that Land (Polaroid Land Camera fame) explained that under certain conditions some people see colour in sceens that are only shades of gray.
