AI Thread Summary
Sample preparation for Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) is crucial for examining specimens in forensic science. The process typically involves several steps, including fixation, dehydration, embedding, sectioning, and staining. Each step is essential to preserve the sample's structure and ensure high-quality imaging. While various resources provide information on sample preparation, they may present differing methods, leading to confusion. It's important to consult multiple sources to find a consistent and reliable protocol suitable for specific forensic applications.

Hello,

I was just wondering, what is the sample preperation when using a Transmission Electron
Microscope.

Just that I am into Forensic Science and would like to know the preperation to examine specimens/samples preperation.

Thanks.

Something I can just read from and use in my study would be more ideal as all websites you provided me with have different preperations. Confusing me now :P

Oh, I am sorry about that. I hope you find the right answer soon. Good luck
