AI Thread Summary
The discussion centers on the development of a device designed to measure drug concentration through a non-invasive method using red LED light. The experiment requires an in vivo procedure, but the creator seeks alternatives to testing on humans or animals. Suggestions are requested for suitable models that can simulate drug injection and allow for light measurement with a photodetector. The focus is on obtaining data through simple testing procedures that can later be analyzed using various formulas, clarifying that the project is not related to photodynamic therapy but rather a method for drug concentration measurement in a biological context.

Hi,
I am building a device. I need an in vivo procedure to perform the experiment. The experiment is based on shinning the red led light on to something just say finger. But I can't test it on any people or animals as of now. I need measure the measure drug concentration. So I need some kinda of model to perform this experiment So that I can inject some kind of drug into something and when i shine the light I will have the photo detector that will absorb the left over light. please give me some suggestion on what type of models I can use.

Is this some form of photodynamic therapy? It really depends on what the intended application of the therapy is.

Its not related to photodynamic therapy. Its just a device that measures the concentration of drug when its inserted into body. So I just want to know if there are any simple testing procedures that can be done to get some kind of data without using humans and animals. Once the data is obtained we can use various formulas for calculations.

The study provides critical new insights into the African Humid Period, a time between 14,500 and 5,000 years ago when the Sahara desert was a green savanna, rich in water bodies that facilitated human habitation and the spread of pastoralism. Later aridification turned this region into the world's largest desert. Due to the extreme aridity of the region today, DNA preservation is poor, making this pioneering ancient DNA study all the more significant. Genomic analyses reveal that the...
Whenever these opiods are mentioned they usually mention that e.g. fentanyl is "50 times stronger than heroin" and "100 times stronger than morphine". Now it's nitazene which the public is told is everything from "much stronger than heroin" and "200 times stronger than fentany"! Do these numbers make sense at all? How do they arrive at them? Kill thousands of mice? En passant: nitazene have already been found in both Oxycontin pills and in street "heroin" here, so Naloxone is more...
