Perfect Euchre Deal: Probability of All Players Having 5 Trump

AI Thread Summary
In a euchre deal, the probability of all four players receiving perfect potential lay-down hands, consisting of the five highest trump cards in different suits, is effectively zero. This is primarily due to the impossibility of two players being dealt both the right and left bower of the same color, which are essential for achieving such hands. The discussion highlights the constraints of card distribution in euchre, emphasizing that the presence of the bowers complicates the likelihood of this scenario occurring.

What is the probability that, in a single euchre deal, all four players will be dealt perfect potential lay-down hands (5 highest trump cards), each player in a different suit?

Wouldn't it be zero since it's impossible for two players to get both the right and left bower of the same color? Or are you excluding the left bower?[/color]

Just ONCE, I wanted to see a post titled Status Update that was not a blatant, annoying spam post by a new member. So here it is. Today was a good day here in Northern Wisconsin. Fall colors are here, no mosquitos, no deer flies, and mild temperature, so my morning run was unusually nice. Only two meetings today, and both went well. The deer that was road killed just down the road two weeks ago is now fully decomposed, so no more smell. Somebody has a spike buck skull for their...
