Looking for some temperature data

Specifically I am looking for a list (preferably one I can throw into Mathematica with not too much work) of all the temperature highs and lows for a city over all recorded temperature history (AKA daily temps over 50+ years). Anyone know where I might find that? Thanks!

Something like this be usefull to you?

You can click on the map and select a weather station and it gives you the mean temperature measured over a month as well as over the different season.

What city?

In the US, one would have to contact NOAA or better the National Climate Data Center.

One can locate weather stations by zip code, or other means, e.g., county.

As far as I can tell, there will be a cost, and not all information will be available, particularly as one goes further back.
