Is there a method of integrating factors for differential equations of power 2 or higher?

"power" in the sense of second or higher derivatives? Probably not. Integrating factors are for first-order DEs.

Integrating factors are are suit for any order ODEs, see, e.g.,

http://www.emis.de/journals/SIGMA/2006/Paper059/

Knowing integrating factor allows to reduce the ODE order.
