Combined antiretroviral therapies are not "deadly toxins"

A new study on the safety of long-term exposure to HIV/AIDS medications concluded that they "[...] found no evidence of an increased risk of both all-cause and non-AIDS-related deaths with long-term cumulative cART [combined antiretroviral therapy] exposure".

Kowalska JD, Reekie J, Mocroft A, Reiss P, Ledergerber B, Gatell J, d'Arminio Monforte A, Phillips A, Lundgren JD, Kirk O; for the EuroSIDA study group. (2012). Long-term exposure to combination antiretroviral therapy and risk of death from specific causes: no evidence for any previously unidentified increased risk due to antiretroviral therapy. AIDS. 26(3):315-323.

Another HIV/AIDS denialist myth ("ARTs are deadly toxins!!11") crushed to pieces by scientific research for the billionth time.

Like button. Unfortunately I suspect they'll do what anti-vaxers and creationists do when scientific evidence doesn't support them: look the other way!
