Proof of convergent sequences


How can we prove this statement?


It two subsequences (a2n) and (a2n-1) converge to the same value,then (an)) converges to that value also.

just write out the δ,ε definition twice, once for each series, then adapt it

(instead of δ, and x < δ, you use n, and n > N)
