SUMMARY

The discussion centers around the feasibility of constructing a 65-mile high pyramid, specifically conceptualized as a "space elevator." This ambitious engineering project would require advanced materials and innovative design to withstand the immense pressure and structural challenges involved. While the costs would be significant, the concept remains a topic of interest in aerospace engineering and architectural design.

PREREQUISITES
  • Understanding of aerospace engineering principles
  • Familiarity with structural engineering and material science
  • Knowledge of space elevator concepts and designs
  • Awareness of cost estimation in large-scale construction projects
NEXT STEPS
  • Research advanced materials suitable for high-altitude construction
  • Explore existing space elevator designs and their engineering challenges
  • Study the economic implications of large-scale aerospace projects
  • Investigate current advancements in construction technology for extreme structures
USEFUL FOR

Aerospace engineers, structural engineers, architects, and anyone interested in innovative construction projects and space exploration technologies.

Would it not be possible to construct a huge pyramid(?) that could vertically extend 65 miles up for our use into space? Granted, the enormous pressure would require special engineering, and at great costs, but surely it can be done. ?
