Topics covered include elementary probability theory, classical thermodynamics, the thermodynamics of the atmosphere, heat engines, specific heat capacities of gases and solids, the Maxwell velocity distribution, paramagnetism, black-body radiation and the Stephan-Bolzmann law, conduction electrons in metals, and degeneracy pressure in white-dwarfs and neutron stars.

Here is a great resource put together by Ed Groth of Princeton to supplement the text "Thermal Physics" by Kittel and Kroemer. The link includes complete lecture notes and homework problems and solutions. In my opinion, the lecture notes discuss key aspects of the text in a simpler and more organized fashion. When K&K is terse in presentation, Groth goes into detail (e.g. showing the derivations of key equations which are absent from K&K). Complete homeworks and solutions are available as well, with many problems being distinct from K&K.
