Simulation of fluid mechanics

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know what simulation software to learn fundamentals of fluid mechanics for beginner student of mechanical engineering like I can create it by my own?

Thanks in advance

Rather than jumping on to some simulation in the first place & learningn it through tutorials, you should better study the theory first.
You should know what you are simulating, feeding the numbers & getting back some cute graphs & visuals may sound very nice, but it is useless without any knowledge of theory that is being used to generate the results.

Spending some time going through the simpler end of material at http://www.cfd-online.com/Links/ (and the whole site) might be worthwhile, the online books & guides section for one.
