Cool resonant mode demonstration

AI Thread Summary
The discussion highlights a demonstration of resonance and vibrational modes, emphasizing the rapid emergence of patterns. Participants express admiration for the stunning transitions observed in the demo. There is curiosity about the patterns that might appear in the ultrasonic range, with expectations of more tightly spaced formations. The conversation reflects a shared appreciation for the visual aspects of resonance. Overall, the demonstration effectively showcases the beauty of vibrational patterns.

Cool, I love how some of the patterns jump into existence very quickly...

That's a nice demo. I agree that the transitions are stunning.
I wonder what patterns would exhibit in the ultrasonic range.

I think you should expect to see more tightly spaced patterns.

So I know that electrons are fundamental, there's no 'material' that makes them up, it's like talking about a colour itself rather than a car or a flower. Now protons and neutrons and quarks and whatever other stuff is there fundamentally, I want someone to kind of teach me these, I have a lot of questions that books might not give the answer in the way I understand. Thanks
