SUMMARY

This discussion proposes the creation of a sticky thread for physics equations accompanied by definitions to assist beginners in understanding fundamental concepts. The example provided is the equation F=mg, where F represents force, m denotes mass (with standard measurement in slugs), and g is the gravitational constant. The suggestion aims to enhance accessibility for individuals new to physics and related mathematics. A resource link is also shared for further exploration of physics equations.

PREREQUISITES
  • Basic understanding of physics concepts
  • Familiarity with mathematical notation
  • Knowledge of gravitational constants
  • Awareness of measurement units (e.g., slugs)
NEXT STEPS
  • Research the implications of Newton's Second Law of Motion
  • Explore the significance of gravitational constants in various contexts
  • Learn about different units of mass and their applications in physics
  • Investigate additional fundamental physics equations and their definitions
USEFUL FOR

Students, educators, and anyone interested in gaining a foundational understanding of physics equations and their definitions.

Could we have sticky for physics equations with deffinitions? Here's my uneducated example:

F=mg

F: Force
m: mass (forgot metric measurement, standard is 'slugs')
g: gravitational constant

I think this would be helpful for those of us just getting into physics and physics-related math.
