Electromagnetic Waves
-Why do electromagnetic waves not readily penetrate metals?
Also a question occurred in class, and they asked -"The sun emits most of its electromagnetic wave energy in the visible region of the spectrum with the peak in the yellow-green. Our eyes are sensitive to the same range, with peak sensitivity in the yellow-green. Is this a coincidence?" I think that question was a homework question, but I could not find the answer. |

Have you learned what makes metals different than other materials?
For your 2nd question, given that science says we evolved and adapted to our enviornment, what do you think the answer is? |
