South Korean scientists have developed a new flexible memory technology that addresses previous issues of cell-to-cell interference, enabling the creation of bendable computer platforms for devices like e-books and cell phones. This breakthrough allows for the production of ultra-thin, lightweight computers that can be rolled up, folded, or integrated into clothing. The resolution of electrical interference on memory chips is a significant advancement that paves the way for flexible computing and display technologies. Additionally, flexible OLED displays have seen substantial progress, although further advancements are still needed in this area.

Dec. 20 - South Korean scientists say they have developed flexible memory technology that could support bendable computer platforms for e-books and cell phones. Previous attempts have been hampered by cell-to-cell interference, but now researchers say the problem has been resolved leaving no further obstacle for new generation of ultra-thin, lightweight computers than can be rolled up, folded or even integrated with clothing. Andrew Schmertz reports.

The big stumbling block has been electrical interference on memory chips, and a claimed solution has been found, paving the way for flexible computers, and display technology.

Not too far in the future this may be possible: watch the youtube video:

I’ve spent nearly my entire life online, and witnessed AI become integrated into our lives. It’s clear that AI is apart of us now whether we like it or not, unless your a anti tech cabin lover. AI has some form of control over your life. But what I’ve seen very recently is that people are loosing their ingenuity and deciding to use AI. I feel as if it’ll bleed into STEM which is kinda has already and, every idea or thought could become fully reliant on AI. Yeah AI makes life easier but at a...
