Anolok (dark brown) finish to terminate laser beam

Is it ok to use anodized aluminum with anolok (dark brown) finish to terminate laser beams? Most use black anodized aluminum, but can the former be used instead?

It depends on the power of the laser, and to some extent its wavelength.
