    Building a Quantum Levitation device

Apologies, I intended to include this. It's a small sample of the technology: http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Ws6AAhTw7RA

    Building a Quantum Levitation device

I'm confident that most of us have seen the advancements in quantum levitation recently, and this has aroused questions among the geek community ( us : ) ) Anyway, if I were to, hypothetically, want to build one... How do I- *cough*- one do such a thing. What equipment and supplies are in play...

Matter vs Antimatter: What Happens When They Collide?

Quick, probably obvious, question. If there was equal amounts of matter and antimatter and they collided and exploded, what happened after the 'battle played out ;)' ? Why is there more matter then antimatter...? Shouldn't there be the same amount?

The strength of electromagnetism in an atom?

Oh? Hmm, interesting. Maybe I had something wrong somewhere.. but I had always thought that the power was which more than that.

The strength of electromagnetism in an atom?

I realize atoms are held together by STRONG electromagnetism, but if you were to convert this energy into an everyday scenario, how strong would it really be? I'm trying to explain the power behind a small atom and I feel using a 'real', known object. Thank you in advance for any answers.

Excellent video on General and Special Relativity

I have discovered this video to be very helpful in explaining to newer physicists the concepts of General and Special Relativity. Silly me! Forgot the link: http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ev9zrt__lec

How do we prove the distributive property of multiplication?

See, in mathematics distributing different numbers/factors, EVENLY, doesn't change anything. Eg. 1(100+10)=110 is the same exact as 2(100+10)=220. We distributed evenly throughout the equation. In my own theory, we can do this for all mathematical equations, even e=mc^2. If we added a...

Physics Salary of Physicists: Hear From Experts

I was curious of the salary of Physicists, and since most of you guys are physicists, you will provide a more... Understandable and truthful experience then Google. I don't care if I'm getting payed pennies on the dollar, as long as I'm a Physicist. I'm just curious.

Becoming a mathematician - I am so depressed

I appreciate your time greatly. I'm just trying to help birth the people who make the tomorrow of science and math come. I am 14 years old btw

Becoming a mathematician - I am so depressed

You are obviously capable of achieving in the field of mathematics. I wouldn't let petty occurrences discourage you from an ever-rewarding field. We are very close in age and seem to share our talent. I myself wish to be a Physicist; perhaps one day we will work together.

What is the estimated worth of a planet made entirely of diamond?

I think all of you obviously lack the common sense to get the question.
