Graduate Quaternion Derivative: Product Rule Explained
Thanks! Could you please elaborate a little more w.r.t the example I mentioned? I read a few articles and have come up with the following result for the equation i posed: d [f(q)] / dq = [-(a x q)/2] + [q* x a] Is this right?- abhiroop_k

Graduate Quaternion Derivative: Product Rule Explained
How does the quaternion derivative work in the presence of a quaternion product. More specifically, does the standard product rule apply for quaternion derivatives? Say, I have a function f(q) = q* x a x q [where q -> quaternion, a -> const vector x-> quat prod] what is the result of the...- abhiroop_k

Can Standard Alligator Clips Affect EMG Signal Quality?
Okay, a basic doubt but, I have individual button cables that have a main and a shield lead. I need to use 3 of these electrode cables together, so do I connect all their shield leads' to a common ground?- abhiroop_k

Can Standard Alligator Clips Affect EMG Signal Quality?
I need to collect data via measuring EMG signals in the upper arm. I have standard AgCl stick-on ECG electrodes. My question is, if I can use normal alligator clip cables for collecting this signal from the electrode and feed it into an instru-amp? Will this affect the signal strength and/or...- abhiroop_k

What is the best op-amp for EMG signals?
I am working on a project that involves using an op-amp (among other ic's) to collect EMG signals from arm muscles. I couldn't get my hands on TL072. Will IC 741 be a decent substitute? TL072 -> http://www.ti.com/product/tl072 IC 741 -> http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/lm741.pdf...- abhiroop_k

EMG vs ECG Electrodes: Can ECG be Used as a Substitute?
I need to use EMG electrodes for an upper-limb EMG interfacing project. I have been unable to obtain EMG electrodes. Can ECG electrodes be used instead? If yes, what are the repercussions? Thanks :D- abhiroop_k

Bumps on PET Bottles: Why & How?
thanks. :) how are multiple curved surfaces more suitable for balance as compared to a single flat one? is it because they account for a larger contact surface area?- abhiroop_k
