Can Quanta Change Color?
I still think not. If you look at line spectra from distant Galaxies, all of the spectral lines are at lower frequencies than they should be. As these Spectral lines correspond to energy levels between atomic orbitals, either the atoms are lower in distant galaxies, OR the photon frequencies...- Adrian Baker

Can Quanta Change Color?
But the photons we receive DO have lower frequencies than when they set out... otherwise we couldn't measure red shift! If the frequency is lower, the energy is lower... How does your reply explain this?- Adrian Baker

What's the Most Bizarre Thing You've Seen on eBay?
No, she understands a guy's Psyche Evo.. Sellling it for a decent price would be bad, but selling a petrol-head's pride and joy for 50p would hurt oh so much... The humiliation! The shame!  It would be absolutely unbearable...- Adrian Baker

The positron IS an antiparticle - the antiparticle of the electron. Are you getting positrons and photons mixed up?- Adrian Baker

Get a nice new jumper.. and perhaps a hat. Then I'd spend my spare time sending snotty letters to Greenpeace activists and all the other treehuggers who went on and on about global warming saying: "Ha! So what do you say now smartarse?"- Adrian Baker
