The recurrence relations help writing the integrals of Bessel functions in terms of other Bessel functions of other orders.

Hi When we find integrals of Bessel function we use recurrence relations. But this requires that we have the variable X raised to some power and multiplied with the function . But how about when we have Bessel function of first order and without multiplication? How should we integrate it ?

So the way I understand it is correct.The photons escape out of the sun as if the they escape from the hole of a hot cavity after being trapped inside.

Thanks for replying I understand it now a little better . Could you please recommend some books for a deeper understanding of blackbody radiation . You didn't tell me whether the way I understand it is correct or not ..ie,the waves escape from interatomic spaces .
