Clarification on induced current/Bfields for solenoids
Homework Statement I'm working on induced currents/b-fields from Lenz's Laws and two different problems use the same equation but one has an extra variable and I don't know when to add this equation. Problem 1: In a physics laboratory experiment, a coil with 180 turns enclosing an area of...- aimslin22

How do moving electric fields create magnetic fields?
a moving electric field does NOT become a magnetic field, it produces one due to magnetic flux. It's rather difficult to explain, so here are some links that might help: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flux#Electromagnetism http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electromagnetic_induction...- aimslin22

Magnetic Fields - Extending Concepts
Here is some more hints: Potential difference = voltage, and the definition of voltage is...? for the second problem, it looks right to me, but you're missing velocity and you have energy...so which equation uses both?- aimslin22

Chemical energy in the runner's body
I probably would have chosen kinetic as well, but thermal makes sense, because a lot of human's energy is wasted by becoming heat rather than kinetic.- aimslin22
