Book recommendation for techniques of evaluating Series?
TL;DR Summary: I am looking for a good thorough book that is devoted to assembling and explaining techniques of evaluating series. evaluating series is a very big problem for me right now. I know nowhere near as much about it as I do integration, and the main reason for this is that its quite...- Al-Layth

Undergrad Measuring the Velocities of Astronomical Objects in the Milky Way
I am looking for the most relied upon studies that measured the motions of the sun, earth, jupiter...etc any or all of the various astronomical objects in the milky way galaxy. Particularly interested in the orbital velocities of the planets- Al-Layth

Undergrad Should I study astronomy first or cosmology first?
its not a part of the syllabus. the math is much too advanced But ideas of spacetime and matter-light contorting it were described in general terms, as if they are fact.- Al-Layth

Undergrad Should I study astronomy first or cosmology first?
self study. i "studied" physics in school until A-Level. (Exams at 18 years old in the UK) Didn't truly understand anything from a truly scientific perspective but still did well in exams. I just obediently studied the proposed theories of matter, (atomic physics) the proposed theory of...- Al-Layth

How do evolutionists construct descendency trees from fossils?
Looking at the result of a great number of fossil expeditions, I understand how you can construct the full or partial skeletons of a number of different animals, you would be able to certainly identify certain bones as belonging to a distinct animal. That's great. you now know there were these...- Al-Layth

To transmit from 2 counter-rotating shafts into 1 perpendicular shaft?
for 1. How could 3 bevel gears work here? if one is mounted on each of the shafts and the input shafts both interlock with the output shaft then won't the input shafts just subtract from each other? (here's I have artistically illustrated how I imagine ur three bevel gear idea. ignore the...- Al-Layth

To transmit from 2 counter-rotating shafts into 1 perpendicular shaft?
you mean make the two input shafts rotate in the same direction? I can't do that, they absolutely have to rotate in the opposite direction heh- Al-Layth

Calculating turbine RPM in a pipe with known air velocity and diameter
I hope somebody posts a detailed answer for how this calculation is done. I am dealing with a similar problem for wind turbines. I expect you will somehow need to calculate the lift on each turbine blade multiply by the number of them and model it as a circular motion problem. but then you also...- Al-Layth
