Schools Can I Handle the Challenges of Studying Physics or Engineering at University?
Hi. I'm completing high school this year and lacking confidence when applying to courses at university. I'm an average student. My teachers tell me I'm good enough to do whatever course I want but I doubt my abilities. My fear is not being able to cope with the workload or work complexity at...- Ameer Bux

How can the coefficient of friction change? Does it?
Homework Statement The coefficient of static and kinetic friction is constant for a specific surface. On an incline plane s and k are both equal to tan of the inclined angle. If the angle increases then tan changes which means the coefficient of friction changes. How is this so? Homework...- Ameer Bux

Violation of conservation of energy?
By squeezing a spring until it coils up, it then has more potential energy. So it will then have more mass, because mass is energy. So doesn't that violate the law of conservation of energy. The spring has more energy and mass after its squeezed than when it wasn't squeezed? -
How Can I Ace My Physics Test on Newton's Laws and Gravitation?
Thanks a lot. Do you guys know a quick way to solve a proportionality problem in Newtons law of gravitation? I need some steps/method to follow. I don't know how to approach these kind of problems. Example of a problem like that is as follows : A large planet has a radius 10x that of the Earth...- Ameer Bux

Time & The Special Theory of Relativity
Sorry let me rephrase. There's somebody moving relative to me, so they see me aging faster, and there's someone still relative to me, so they see me aging slower. How can I be growing older faster and slower simultaneously?- Ameer Bux
